Climate Changers FF Community Rules


These rules are designed to ensure a respectful, productive, and engaging environment for all members. Please read them carefully before participating.

Rules acceptable both in person training activities and using online community platform.

 

1. Respectful Communication:

Be Respectful: Treat all members with respect, courtesy, and kindness, even when disagreeing.

No Hate Speech: Hate speech, discrimination, personal attacks, insults, and harassment of any kind are strictly prohibited.

Constructive Discussion: Focus on constructive discussions and solutions. Avoid personal attacks or inflammatory language.

Stay on Topic: Keep discussions relevant to climate change action and related topics.

2. Photo and Video Consent (Crucial):

Live Events: By attending any in-person "Climate Changers FF" event or training, you consent to being photographed and/or video recorded. These photos and videos may be used for reporting, promotional purposes, and on social media. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must inform the event organizers in writing (email is acceptable) before the event begins. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, but cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all recordings.

Online Events: By participating in any online "Climate Changers FF" event or training (e.g., webinars, video calls), you consent to being photographed (screenshots) and/or video recorded. These photos and videos may be used for reporting, promotional purposes, and on social media. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must keep your camera off and inform the event organizers in writing (email or direct message within the platform) before the event begins. Use of Materials: The materials in Live and Online Events could be used by organizers for social reporting, and social network publications. Disclaimer: Please note, in some of event, you may be shooted without possibilities to remove. If you disagree, please inform is before the event.

 

3. Content Sharing:

Relevant Content: Share content (links, articles, resources) that is relevant to the group's focus on climate action.

No Self-Promotion (Without Permission): Avoid excessive self-promotion or spam. If you have a relevant resource to share, ask a moderator for permission first. Fact-Checking: Share accurate information. Be mindful of the sources you cite.

4. Privacy:

Respect Privacy: Do not share personal information about other members without their explicit consent.

No Doxing: Doxing (revealing private information) is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the group.

 

5. Moderation:

Moderator Discretion: Moderators reserve the right to remove any content or member that violates these rules, without prior warning.

Reporting Issues: If you see any content or behavior that violates these rules, please report it to a moderator.

Contact: You can contact moderators in direct message inside the platform, or per email.

 

6. Rule Updates:

Changes to Rules: These rules may be updated periodically. It is your responsibility to stay informed of the current rules.
